Mari Lewis’ account book which records her customers in the Llangeitho area, 1916-1941.
Mari Lewis was the village quilter of Llangeitho, near Tregaron. Born in 1867, her account book shows she was a prolific maker. Most of her customers came from Llangeitho and Tregaron, but some lived in London. Her most popular commissions were cotton sateen quilts.
