Staple pliers
'Patent' staple pliers for putting staples into leather. The staple fits inside the upper, 'L' shaped jaw, and the leather on the lower jaw. Squeezing the two handles together moves the top jaw down, pushing the staple into the leather. The spring loaded jaws open when pressure is released on the handles. The tool was originally copper orange in colour.
