Photograph showing a large gathering for a funeral that took place at Eglwys Crist, Llanddinorwig, Gwynedd on the 1st July 1899. This resulted from a sea disaster that happened on a Sunday school outing during June of 1899 where twelve people were drowned about one mile off the shore of Pwllheli. On the day of the funeral and due to a very hot summer's day, the mourners were seen to be wearing their umbrella's mainly to keep cool. Mounted on card.
