Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
LINEN, embroidered with coloured wools in cross and satin stitches. At the top, in three rows, separated by stripes, are alphabets in capital and small letters, ampersands and numerals to 15 and 3. In the middle is a house between two flowering plants with birds and various detached floral designs symmetrically arranged. At the bottom, within a rectangular compartment, is the maker’s name and date. There is a border of a wavy stem with strawberries.
