Simeone Piccolo on left and the Fondamenta della Croce in the distance. The source is Antonio Visentini Prospectus Magni Canalis Venetani -- Pictis ab Antonio Canale (in Aedibus Josephi Smith Angli 1735 no XI...Original oil painted for Smilth c.1730 and now in Royal Collection, Windsor.
