Palestinian flag taken by Dr Kumaran Pillay to a pro-Palestine demonstration in Cardiff, 2024.
Flag made from tabby woven synthetic material, printed with the Palestinian flag with horizontal bars of black white and green and a red triangle set along its PR side. Double-turn backs on 3 sides, held in place with double row of machine stitches using red thread. The 4th (PR) side is encapsulated with white fabric, which is turned in at both sides and held in place by a double-row of machine stitches using white thread. The white fabric forms a sleeve for inserting a pole. To prevent the pole from sliding through, the upper end is closed with a line of overlocking stitches. The bottom end is left unfinished.
