ECM: Merthyr Mawr; decorated slab (replica)
Fragmentary square slab, decorated with an incomplete double-beaded plaitwork pattern in low relief; comprising two interlinked looped squares, with five pellets symmetrically disposed in the interspaces. The slab has a chamfered edge on the under side, suggesting architectural use originally.

Notes: Original formerly located in the churchyard. It is still at the same site, outside the E. end of the church.
