Mr Hugh Jones (of Maes Padarn, Llanberis) operating a slate dressing machine in Dinorwig Quarry. Mr Hugh Jones worked in Dinorwig Quarry from 1928 to the 1960s when he had to retire due to ill health (caused by slate dust). Mr Hugh Jones worked in various different locations within Dinorwig Quarry, including Wellington, Braich, and Australia. The photograph is mounted on pink card, and has been laminated.
