Head, torso and limbs are made from painted composite material; all are held together by elasticated interior mechanism.

Head is moulded and facial features are painted on in red and white; hair adhered; blue plastic eyes with closing mechanism

Jumpsuit: made from blue herringbone twill wool; machine stitched but finished by hand; full-length metal zip down centre front (= 21.5cm, set into blue cotton herringbone twill tape on either side); mid-length sleeves; 2.2cm wide cuffs at lower leg and 8.5cm long slit at lower outer leg to be closed with metal popper button on cuff; 2.5cm wide belt (self fabric) held in place by two hand stitched belt loops at sides of waist (black thread) and to be closed with blue plastic button (Ø=1.7cm) and stitched loop (button and loop stitched with black thread)

hood is lined with loose-weave tabby cotton (yarns of light and dark blue forming a check pattern on white ground, each stripe made up of 7 yarns = 0.1cm).

Underneath jumpsuit, doll is wearing a full length, short sleeved, high waisted, light blue synthetic dress with frills at waist and hem, white cotton lace around shoulders and down front and embroidered beads of clear faceted glass on skirt (1 row) and around neck (2 rows). Where the two sections of lace meet at centre front, there is a small rosette made from two pieces of blue synthetic fabric. The frill around the waist has decorative stitches along its hem using purple cotton thread. Sleeves have 1.2cm wide cuffs of the same fabric; 12 cm long slit down centre back (extending into skirt section), fastened with two white plastic buttons (hand-stitched buttonholes); dress is machine stitched but finished by hand.
