(7174 gt) Built 1942 by Permanente Metals Corp., Richmond, California, (or by by Toff-California Shipbuilding Corp., Richmond, California (engine by General Machinery Corp., Hamilton, Ohio) for MoWT managed first by Kaye, Sons & Co., then by Connell & Grace Ltd. 1946 - Transferred to Ministry of Transport and managed by Clan Line Ltd. or by Thompson Steamshipping Co., Cardiff. 1951 – Sold to Clan Line Steamers Ltd (Cayzer, Irvine & Co), Glasgow, and renamed CLAN MacQUEEN. 1953 or 54 - Sold to British & South American Steam Navigation Co. Ltd., London, and renamed HERMINIUS. 1957 – Acquired by Houston Line Ltd., managed by Cayzer, Irvine & Co., London. (same name). 1958 – Sold to Pan-Norse Steamship Co., Panama, and renamed EKBERG, managed by Wallem & Co. 1962 - Sold to Marine Development & Supply S.A. Panama, but retained her name.
