Llyn Peris frozen over, photograph

Eight Dinorwig Quarry stewards/officials standing on Llyn Peris. The lake had frozen over due to snow and ice which lasted for nine weeks during January and February 1963. Due to the poor weather conditions, Dinorwig Quarry was closed for nine weeks. Mr Owen William Humphreys is third from left. Mr Eric Lyall is sixth from left.
