Small octagonal plate, earthenware, standing on a narrow foot rim, cushion-moulded sides, flaring to form eight sided rim; the outer rim reeded, the rim moulded with daisies, the open flower heads closely spaced with eight larger daisies at the eight corner points; transfer printed in brown in the centre with a coat of arms, the shield per cross with an hour glass dexter chief, crossed keys, sinister chief, a beehive, dexter base and a lion statant with banner, sinister base; a Latin motto on a scroll beneath the shield; the whole, surmounted by an orb issuing an open palmed hand with sprigs to either side, surmounted in turn by a single eye within radiating rays and surrounded by clouds; the shield, resting on a plinth with three female figures surrounding, one, holding a small child with a green enamelled robe with two further children, one, female with a yellow skirt, the other, a boy with blue trousers around her skirt, to the other side, standing closely together, a female figure with iron-red classical-style dress, holding an anchor and a third in green with yellow veil, holding a cross; the plinth, with small shields, a dove and serpent like scrolls in green enamel; blue banding to outer rim with the 'Independent Order of Oddfellows' inscription in a curve around the central design.
