Melingriffith tinplate works, slide
Former Melingriffith Tinplate Works 21 years after closure as a tinplate works, when occupied by a variety of engineering firms. Most of the works buildings were little changed from when tinplate was produced. Works entrance viewed from the east. Signage on the left names the occupiers as British Anthracite Co. Ltd. South Wales Engineering Group, Transformers (Wales) Ltd, L.P.S.Contracts Ltd, Pilkingtons Plating (Cardiff) Ltd., and Rimer Manufacturing Co. Ltd.
