Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Wedding dress, 1908. High waisted dress with back of skirt ending in a short pointed train. The bodice has a V shaped inset panel of lace in front extending to the waist. This is edged with gathered satin bands. A wide lace collar is attached to it. Satin sleeves extend to elbows and then in lace at wrists (these have subsequently been altered to short sleeves). Neck may also have been altered after the wedding. Bottom of skirt is trimmed with three frills of narrow pleated satin. Veil is of square silk net with emrboidery at corners. Small spray of orange blossom held in place at centre top.
