Tile
Tile, pale buff-coloured earthenware, flat square shape; the upperside of the tile covered with a bluish-grey tin-glaze, this then transfer-printed in black with a street scene showing figures of street-hawkers and children miming on a street before an open window in which two figures stand, the scene enclosed by a square cartouche of foliate scrolls, below the scene is printed the inscription "J. Sadler Liverpl.". A chip to one side of the tile.
