Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Transverse arrowhead of petit tranchet type. It is made on black, unpatinated flint and no cortex is present. The original flake has had little retouch on the dorsal surface, just a few minor removals at the ridge between two flake scars where the knapper has thinned the flake, this retouch is marginal. The ventral surface has steep, scalar retouch along the entire length, being steepest towards the proximal end of the flake. On the other length the retouch is very marginal, yet is steep and runs the entire length of the piece. There is some minor retouch at the tang, of which a small part has broken off.
Site Name: Llandegai, Bangor
Notes: from pit 151, possibly contemporary with the pre-Henge B house, Llandegai Henge monuments and Iron Age settlement
