Starboard view of the formaster sailship AFON CEFNI in heavy seas. Faint signature and date bottom left. Framed.
The AFON CEFNI was a four masted steel barque built on the Clyde in 1891, the last vessel built for the Davies Brothers of Menai Bridge. She went missing in January 1894 having sailed from Swansea for San Francisco with coal and general cargo.
