Lower section of relief model of Graig Ddu and Manod Quarry. This model is based on both Graig Ddu and Mynydd Manod quaries, Blaenau Ffestiniog and showing Mills of Manod quarry. The lower section of the relief model is not visible to the public and can be lifted off which gives an insight into a very secretive and impressive structure of the underground chambers which lay beneath Mynydd Manod and Graig Ddu quarry, Blaenau Ffestiniog. The lower section is painted orange with a written inscription "Lower Platey Slatey Crystal Tuff".
