Heavy mahogany frame with two double-grooved uprights, semi-circular in section, fitted into a flat base, slightly curved and rounded for decoration. Identical upper horizontal bar with two slots to fit around uprights, and locked in position with two wedges. Full set of quills in frame. Dismantled, and stored in a box.
