Cup and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, cup standing on a foot rim, tall straight sides, elaborate scroll handle; decorated in polychrome enamels, opposite the handle with a female figure seated in an arbour, the top joined by mixed flowers, figure wearing a purple bodice with a yellow skirt, bush behind, two plants springing from bottom of arbour with purple, yellow and orange flowers, two sprigs, and two leaves, under lip border of blue scale design with foliate gilt outline, gilding to handle, gilt dentil border to inner lip. Saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading sides; decorated in the centre with a female wearing a pink dress dancing with a garland of flowers within an arbour, various scattered flowers some hanging form the blue scale border with gilt foliate outline towerds lip, dentil gilt border to lip.
