Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Small bowl, stoneware, inset base, rounded sides with slight ogee at lower third of body, the upper body rounded and slightly closed, distinct ledge where body meets a short, closed neck with plain rim; overall grey glaze, the exterior decorated with inlaid dark brown glaze with a series of concentric ovals, surrounded two concentric 'U' shaped loops, followed by a third loop with triangular pendants, this pattern is repeated to complete the design, this appears on both sides of the vessel, seperated by three vertical lines, the neck has a single horizontal band.
