Tear drop shape open container, could be an oil lamp but shows no sign of burning. Is possibly an item used to fill oil lamps, its pointed nozzle ideally suited for this purpose and the angle at which is sits on its base indicates that if it were used as a lamp it could not hold much oil before it reached the lowest point at which it would spill. The item is grey/green clay with much mica present it has a dark brown slip on the inside and outside but not on the base. The item has an incised groove just below the rim which starts and ends at the nozzle. In the centre there is a raised double line in a tear drop shape encircling a basic flower design - a stem and seven dots it has a flat base.
