S.S. KOHISTAN (3) (5884gt). Built 1930 by J. Readhead & Sons Ltd., South Shields (with triple-expansion steam engine by the builder), for Strick Line (1923) Ltd. (part of the P&O Group). 1946 – Transferred to Shahristan Steamship Company Ltd. (also part of P&O). She was broken up at Kure, Japan, by Yoshira Zosen in 1959. (Source: P&O Heritage)
