Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Two-movement pot-crane made from wrought iron and turned steel, from Llangollen. A plain horizontal arm terminating in the shape of a crane's head. Lever for raising or lowering the pot-hook is missing but the studs on the vertical shaft are intact. These were common in Wales from the 1600s until the 1950s. They allowed pots to be moved closer or further away from the fire.
