Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
A bronze chain found in the excavation made at Caerwent. Mr. Akerman, who kindly superintended the proceedings, thinks that it had probably been used for suspending a lamp. The pattern of this chain was very frequently used by the Romans.
