Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Wedding dress (bodice, skirt and underskirt), about 1870-72. Made from cream ribbed silk trimmed with cream satin and lace. Bodice has fifteen satin covered buttons. Peated point at back, weighted with lead. Long ruched sleeves. Double frill of lace at neck and cuffs (which may be later). Skirt has pronounced bustle with satin bow on top. Front of skirt is pleated with draped panel of lace. 1870-2
