Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Wedding dress (skirt and bodice). Worn by Eleanor Ann Gurd (nee John) on her wedding, aged 30, in 1900. Light brown woollen material. Bodice has front opening with hook and eye fastening, coverd by front overlap. High collar covered with machine made by guipre lace. Bodice trimmed with three brown velvet ribbons down front, lace on cuffs and velvet ribbon around waist. Skirt is full at back, with slight train.
