Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
An unidentified sea-rolled stone. The sea has eroded it beyond recognition, it may be a flint pebble or quite possibly waste slag from glass production.
Its shape is extremely uneven and irregular. It has a small yellow grainy core while the majority is very dark grey, extremely dense stone similar to flint. The stone has been heavily eroded by the sea, smoothing out the exterior and marking it with speckled divets. It has two fracture points which show a flint-like interior.
Site Name: Peterstone, Peterstone Wentloog
