Dish, buff coloured earthenware, octagonal shape with flat base and curving spreading sides, the centre of the well moulded with a raised outline of a stylised flower, the sides of the well moulded with alternating raised outlines of pomegranates and fleur-de lys, to one side of the well are the raised initials "I S", a raised band surmounted by a pattern of moulded circles to the rim; the upperside of the dish covered all over with a white slip, the raised outlines of the central flower, the pomegranates and the fleur-de-lys filled in with red and black slips, the rim decorated with a trailed patternb of circles, dots and scrolling lines in black slip, the upperside of the dish covered with a glossy yellow glaze, the underside left unglazed.
