Hollow bit used with F08.21.1 brace to cut a round tenon, such as the tongue on the felloe end of a wheel spoke. At the front of the tool is a flat, circular surface with two small, adjustable blades, and hollow in the centre. Each blade is held in position by two threaded bolts, which are loosened to alter the angle or remove the blades for sharpening. The tool has been cast, turned on a lathe, and then machined.
