Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
An incomplete (45%) inhumation of an adult female aged 35-45 years (extended, supine) in a plain grave oriented west-east. The grave is cut by or cuts into SK 906. Intrusions are represented by extra adult elements and juvenile elements.
Elements present: cranium fragment (n=1), L and R tibia, complete R femur, pelvis (pathology: pitting around acetabular border of the L os coxa), R humerus (note: very robust compared to other elements), L femur distal epiphysis and femoral head fragment, L and R fibula, R ulna, ?sacrum fragment, L and R calcaneus, ?clavicle fragment, ribs (n=4 fragments), phalanges, metatarsals/metacarpals, carpals/tarsals, unidentified fragments.
Adult intrusions: extra R tibia proximal epiphysis, extra R femur proximal epiphysis. Juvenile intrusions: small unfused element, small bag of very small elements.
