Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
From Romano-British Soil M64a, This is a slightly micaceous sandstone with far more silt, and therefore finer-grained than the others. It is the broken end of a thin pebble decorated only on one of the broad faces with a series of criss-cross lines which roughly follow three main orientations. As the piece is fragmentary with some surface damage, analysis of the design and the identification of motifs is not possible.
Site Name: Rhuddlan, Denbighshire
Notes: From Rhuddlan Site M NGR refers to Rhuddlan Castle. Collector worked freelance on behalf of the Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust.
