Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
When Thomas Mansel Talbot returned from a Grand Tour of Europe, he decided to pull down his family home, Margam House, and build a new home for himself at Penrice, overlooking Oxwich Bay in the Gower. He described it as 'the most romantic spot in the country'. This watercolour by Charlotte Louisa Traherne was painted a few decades later.
