Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Carved wooden coal miners boot. This was carved by the donor to celebrate the connections between the north and south Wales coalfields.
The wood for the boot was obtained from a 'foot block' (used to stablise ringed roadway supports) taken from Bersham's timber yard in 1986 when the colliery closed. It was made into a boot for Ceri Thompson when he visited Bersham in September 2010.
