Mounted black and white photograph of a child (girl) with tub in front of house.
Caption from exhibtion "Out the back with the bath tub hanging up. (kathryn Jones). Andrew Walters interviewed his grandfather, Mr Allen Davies, who was born in 1932. 'When I left school at 14, I went to work at Cwmaman Colliery. It was very hard work. I started work at 4 a.m. and finished at 2 p.m. I worked as a coal carrier. When I came home from the pit I had to take a bath in a tin bath in front of the fire. I had to bath in the same tub as my father (who also worked down the pit). The water was heated on the coal fire so there was not much of it.'"
