S.S. GLANRHYD (2066gt). Built 1943 by Grangemouth Dockyard Co Ltd, Grangemouth as EMPIRE DAUGHTER for MoWT (managed by Stephenson, Clarke Ltd). The engine was by North East Marine Engine (1938) Ltd, Newcastle upon Tyne. 1946 – Sold to Harries Brothers & Co., Swansea and renamed GLANRHYD. 1948 – Sold to Tavistock Shipping Co Ltd., London, and renamed NOELDALE. 1949 – Sold to Henry & McGregor Ltd., Leith, and renamed KINNAIRD HEAD. 1961 – Sold to Gino Gardella, Italy and renamed BRICKO QUINTO. She was broken up at Savona, Italy in 1976.
