Tea cup and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, tea cup standing on a foot rim, flared sides, slightly everted lip, C-scroll handle with scroll terminal; decorated opposite handle in red, green, purple, yellow and black enamels with two classical figures and one putto with wings, village on rock to right, within a gilt and brown, shaped cartouche with gilt and brown scrolling, panel inscribed C.C.H.' centre, top, gilt border to foot rim and handle, spray of polychrome flowers to bottom, ornamental gilt border to inner lip. The saucer stands on a foot rim, spreading body, everted lip; decorated in centre with a figure of Europa carred off by the putto above, two putti either side, two figures to right, inscribedJupiter in Specie Tauri Europam avehit', bottom left, within a gilt and brown quatrelobe cartouche with gilt and brown scrolling, panel inscribed `C.C.H. / 1751', above, centre, ornamental gilt border to lip.
