Vase, bone china; standing on a narrow pedestal foot, krater-shaped body with bulging lower part and tall flared cylindrical upper part; two vertical rectangular loop handles with lion mask terminals attached to the lower part; painted on one side with a large octagonal panel containing shells and seaweed on a brown ground; other side painted with a gilt vase of fruit and flowers issuing delicate scrolling foliage and flowers; chocolate brown handles with gilt terminals; lower part painted with a continuous gilt arcaded and stylised flower pattern, gilt leaf and tulip-like flower pattern around the foot, gilt bands to the foot and lip.
