Jug, pale buff coloured earthenware, standing on a roughly formed slightly spreading foot-rim, globular body with an incised ring around the lower body, vertical neck with a roughly formed raised ridge around it and a roughly formed mouth, roughly formed plain loop handle with a raised ridge running down one side of it; the upper body, neck, handle and interior lip-rim covered in a mottled green glaze which has spread down onto some of the lower body and base, extensive plaster restoration to the neck, the restored areas overpainted with a green glaze.
