Ianto's Shrine, Cardiff Bay. Ianto Jones is a fictional character created by Russell T Davies for the the BBC television programme Torchwood (a spin-off from the series Doctor Who). He is the main romantic interest of Captain Jack (played by John Barrowman). The character was killed off in the third series. Ianto was played by Welsh actor Gareth David-Lloyd.
