Sucrier, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, rounded curving sides, round domed cover with to the top a finial modelled in the form of a flower head with stem and leaves; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to either side of the exterior body of the sucrier an oval panel painted with a view of a wild animal, one a fox, the panels enclosed by puce trellis-like borders entwined by ribbon-tied flowers, around the rest of the exterior sides of the sucrier and the top of the cover are scattered floral sprigs, the finial picked out in puce, yellow and green.
