Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
These are remains from the Inhumation burial of an Adult who was probably Male. He was buried in an extended supine position in a simple grave oriented Northest-Shoutheast
The burial is from Phase C: 401-659 AD
Also recovered from his grave was an Early Medieval "S" Type Brooch (2025.7H/2.54)(Small Finds no. 19-035). The S Type brooch is common from 450-600 AD but is very rarely found in Wales and so most likely an import from the continent.
