A prize of 10/- was this day adjudged to Susan Edwards Aged 12½ years for proficiency in Reading, Writing, Arithmatic, Dictation, Grammar and the Holy Scriptures accompanied by regular attendance and good conduct at School. Dowlais 9th Dec. 1870. Printed in black on card with gold, blue and red ornate border with prints of Dolwais School at top and iron works at bottom. Regulations printed on rear.
