Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
CANVAS, embroidered with coloured silks in cross stitch. At the top is the following verse:
"Hymn Tis religion that can give Sweetest pleasure while we live Tis religion must supply Sollo (sic) comfort when we die"
Below is the text: "Remember thy creator in the / days of thy youth" and the following inscription: "Alberta Hubbard / a gift from her cousin. B.L. / May 31 1879." The inscriptions are separated by narrow horizontal bands of ornament, There are also a number of plant, heart and crown designs. There is a narrow geometric border.
