Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Roughly squared pillar stone with Ogam and Latin inscriptions.
Site Name: Eglwys Nynnid, Margam
Notes: Original monument was probably located (found) near the presumed line of the Roman Road between the forts of Cardiff and Neath; either erect or recumbent. The discovery of a Romanesque arch incorporated in the wall of the farmhouse (above) confirms its identification as the site of a grange of Margam Abbey. In the mid-18th century, it was noted as being beside the road known as "Water Street" (SS 8033 8446). It is now located in the Margam Abbey Museum.
