The KILDATON was built in 1903 by Ailsa Shipbuilding Co., Troon for J. Brown & Co. She was later bought by John Hardie & Co., but was captured and sunk by a German auxiliary cruiser 870 miles from Valparaisoon, 12 December 1914.
