Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
A leaf-shaped flint arrowhead of white patinated flint with a sand-gloss over the surface. The tip is a fine point on the end of an almost round body. The arrowhead is pressure flaked on both faces.
Flint leaf-shaped arrowhead, 4000-3000 BCE, from Merthyr Mawr, south-east Wales. Pieces of bone or antler were used to press thin flakes from the edge of a piece of flint.
