Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Wedding hat, 1898. Worn by donor's mother for her wedding at Holy Trinity Church, Felinfoel. It was worn with a grey costume because the family were in mourning at the time. Circular wired frame, trimmed with cream-coloured silk. Matching lace and a white artificial rose each side. Originally trimmed with feathers but these have now disappeared.
