Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Captioned “Oakfield Brickworks, Cwmbran” (i.e. Henllys Brickworks at Oakfield, Cwmbran, originally owned by Messrs. Hanson, and latterly owned by GKN). However, the details of the buildings and the works layout (c.f. P74.16553) show that this caption is incorrect and it is actually Gwent Pipe & Fire Brick Works at Lower Pontnewydd, built in the period 1923-37 on the site of Pontnewydd Tinplate Works, later acquired by Hepworth Pipe Co Ltd, viewed from the south west.
