Sword tip fragment, widening with convex curve to upper break. Upper break cross section has a gently rounded mid-section and gently concave outer section, with slight bevelling of edges visible (4.0-5.0mm wide). By comparison with the other sword tip fragment (10), about 39.0mm appears to have been broken off the tip end of this fragment (old break). In side view, the blade fragment is slightly bent near the upper break, caused by deliberated breakage in antiquity. Blade edge completely preserved, no notching visible. Striations along blade edge indicate sharpening. Green patina with light green carbonate concretions on one surface.
